Monday – 3 days to go

Looking good.  We’ve finished all the electrical and are now working on all the “little add-ons”.  I still have a few figures left and am actively looking for those “dark” spots, which are becomming rather hard to find.  Main objective today is finding all those lights which decided not to work after I put them out (of course, they were all working before I put them out).

My brother leaves for California Tuesday morning and he has been a tremendous help.  He is 3 years into retirement and I don’t think he has worked this hard since he retired.

So far I have had two reporters out.  One for a high school paper and the other for a weekly Williamson magazine.  Still waiting on the TV exposure.  Hopefully, the publicity comes out early in December and doesn’t wait for the last week when it is already “big time” busy.

Things are busy at our flower shop this week, so this is probably my last chance to work on the display until Thanksgiving morning.

I was wondering if your lights will be on Friday, 11-28-14? I wanted to bring my three grandchildren and we are travelling from Red Boiling Springs, TN

Do you allow 32 passenger buses to come through and look at your lights?

The first two weekends in December do not present a problem, but the two before Christmas (and the 22nd, 23rd & 24th are huge) are very busy and it becomes difficult to turn around a large bus (bigger than Gray Line busses or Franklin Trolleys).

It’s awesome for me to have a web site, which is good in favor of my experience.
    thanks admin

Is there a cost to see this?

There has never been a charge to see my display and walk through it…I do it for all the kids (young and old) in Middle Tennessee in memory of my son. I do have a donation box (for those who desire), with all the donations going to the Shrine Children’s Hospitals (over $50,000.00 has been raised in the last 8 years).
